Giving Hunger the Blues is the largest annual, single-day, charity event in Sarasota County.
In it's 14th year, this event has raised over $700,000 to-date, benefitting All Faiths Food Bank, Child Protection Services, & P.A.L. Sailor Circus.
Since 2005, The Drum Studio has sponsored & facilitated the Young Musicians Stage, providing students, young bands, & school groups the opportunity to perform on a professionaly equipped stage, to an audience of thousands...all while learning about what it means to be part of their community.
The young musicians donate their time & talent thru performance, & volunteer all day..carrying equiptment, helping with production, recording, & being roadies !!
It's an amazing thing to be part of, knowing you've helped so many less-fortunate young people in your community, all while having a great time, & a great show !!
